1.0 Overview
The last few years have seen significant developments in the world of International tax, but more so in Transfer Pricing, including the Base Erosion and Profit Shifting (BEPS) project. In response to these developments, revenue authorities around the world have undertaken practical measures to implement the recommendations arising from BEPS action plans and increased levels of audit activity, leading to an increase in Transfer Pricing disputes and court cases globally.
Closer home, Transfer Pricing is top of mind for revenue authority, with the creation of the International tax office within the Large Taxpayers Office at the KRA, and it should be high on the list of your priorities for 2018 too!
In this interactive workshop, ICPAK has put together a comprehensive training program that will be executed by a well regarded transfer pricing team drawn from across the region. The objectives will be:
- A look at the latest Global and Kenyan Transfer Pricing compliance requirements
- Transfer Pricing documentation process in the Post BEPS era
- The practical considerations of implementing Transfer Pricing in a business, with a special focus on Permanent establishments, intra-group services and intangibles
- Provide insight into what strategies should be employed for Transfer Pricing disputes and litigation
