TRAINING OF TRAINERS WORKSHOP

The Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Kenya (ICPAK) develops an annual calendar of Continuing Professional Development (CPD) events for accountants and other interested professionals in corporate and professional practice. These events include; consultancies, in-house trainings, seminars, workshops, conferences, forums, breakfast sessions evening events, professionals power lunches and online CPD events including but not limited to videos sessions, and online seminars. The events are held both locally in Kenya and abroad. Locally the events are held in Nairobi, Garissa, Kitui, Kericho, Nakuru, Eldoret, Kakamega, Kisumu, Kisii, Nyeri and Mombasa.
The Institute Invites individuals to express their interest in facilitating these events as:
- Presenters, guest speakers or session facilitators
- Session Chairs
- Panel Discussion Moderators
The subject areas include:
- Accounting & financial reporting (including applicable IFRS and other standards)
- Financial Management and reporting in cooperatives, financial services sector, agricultural sector, public sector among others
- Risk Management and Compliance
- Tax and Economics
- Public Finance Management
- Forensic Audit practice in private, public sectors including forensic investigation
- Corporate Governance and Ethics
- Leadership and Corporate Management
- Soft Skills: Negotiation, public speaking, career development and other critical soft skills for professional Accountants, Entrepreneurship & Marketing and Brand Management for professionals
- Commercial/trade and labor laws
ICPAK training events target members of other reciprocating professional bodies and individual professionals at all levels of the organization in both public and private sectors. ICPAK trainers are persons of high standing in society, with ideally a master’s degree in their specialty areas. Women, Youth and Persons with disability are specifically encourage to apply.

Submit your Expression of Interest by using the Individual Expression of Interest form that can be accessed from click here to download the Individual Expression of Interest form. The expression of interest will close on 22nd January 2018. EOIs will be received by email only to memberservices@icpak.com.with a copy to judith.wambura@icpak.com

Kindly note that booking for the Training for Trainers is available either online at www.icpak.com/events or on the ICPAK Live – A smart phone based application that is available from google store. Delegates are urged to note that the bookings close on 22nd January 2018 at 1700 hrs

Members of ICPAK and other reciprocating professional bodies will earn 5 CPD points upon successfully attending The Training of Trainers Workshop.
National Industrial Training Authority (NITA) Reimbursement
The Institute is registered as a trainer with National Industrial Training Authority. The Institute’s registration number is DIT/TRN/47. Participants who are registered levy contributors should apply to NITA for reimbursement of their fees. Please note that this is applicable for Kenyan citizens only and subject to NITA regulations. Remember that to qualify you should apply to NITA for approval prior to the date of the conference. Further details can be obtained from their website (www.nita.go.ke).
