Introduction
Much like the man who wears many hats, practitioners are forced to manage and master diverse skills in order to thrive. Apart from audit and accounting professional knowledge, running a practice requires one to be entrepreneurial, socially gifted, politically astute and well versed in matters of human resources among other subjects. In the wake of financial and economic upheaval, the role of practitioners has emerged as crucial and this opportunity should be taken to cement it as so.
With this in mind, the 11th Practitioners’ Growth Forum has been organized with the objective of augmenting practitioners in the region in spite of the challenges presented by the dynamic business, technological, political and legislative environment. To address modern day challenges, this year’s forum will enlighten delegates on matters spanning revenue generation amid debates on pricing of services, business intelligence, the role of practitioners in engendering trust, managing stakeholder relationships and the latest industry developments that impact practitioners.
