Overview
Every year, ICPAK hosts its members, representatives from other professions, business leaders, ICPAK’s corporate partners, Institute’s past Chairmen and Council members among other prominent guests to celebrate professional achievements as they recognize great men and women who have selflessly made contributions that have positively shaped and enriched the accountancy profession in Kenya.
The growth of the Institute over time presents an incredible development of an active community of professionals which has not only guaranteed its professional accountants the competitive advantage of being active and informed members of their industry but has also propelled them to gain professional recognition taking charge of their career.
ICPAK appreciates the fact that success is not an event but a process, and the success journey is the process of working through each step to arrive at the next one, with each step motivating and inspiring to press on. Therefore, becoming a standout success has necessitated both men and women to take each new beginning and follow it through to the end.
The Institute continues to achieve many milestones since its inception forty-one years with the most current being the review of the Accountants Act. The reviewed Act has defined the accountant and the accountancy profession, provided for the registration of trainee accountants into the Institute, allows for development and implementation of a remuneration order for accountants and issuance of multiple licenses among other amendments. This is a great accomplishment for the Institute as these amendments play a pivotal role in recognizing, regulating, and enhancing the accountancy practitioner and profession whilst safeguarding public interest.
Themed ‘Opportunities growth through fortified oversight’, this year’s event will be held at Safari Park Hotel on Friday 6th December 2019 starting from 6.00pm

Targeting over 400 delegates, the event will provide a forum to network with colleagues and other professionals, whilst enjoying a fun-filled night.
