THE 39TH COAST BRANCH ANNUAL MEMBERS MEETING AND BRANCH ELECTIONS Physical Attendance

Notice is hereby given that the 39^th Annual Members Meeting (AMM) for Coast – Branch will be held on Monday 20^th May 2024 from 2:00pm to 5:00pm at Premium Inn Suites & Conferencing Ltd(Previously know  as PrideInn CBD) in Mombasa. Kindly confirm your attendance by booking online under special events category. The event is free and members in attendance shall be awarded 2 CPD Hours.

I invite nominations from among the members of Coast Branch to the positions indicated above. Interested members are requested to send dully filled nomination form to branches@icpak.com by close of business Friday 3^rd May 2024. The nomination form is attached herein.

Note:

1. Sub-section 7.0.4 of the approved Branch Governance Policy stipulates that one must have been a member of the Institute for not less than three years and must have also served the in the Branch Executive Committee for at least one year to qualify for the position of Branch Chairperson.
2. Only members in good standing with respect to paid up subscriptions, CPD requirement and with no pending disciplinary cases will be cleared to vie for the above positions.
3. Only members registered with the branch 30 days to the AMM will be eligible to vie and/or vote for the positions above.
4. Voting shall be done online as per the voters’ register drawn from members in (2) above.
5. Please note the following key dates as appertains the branch elections:

1. 1. Submission of nomination forms:      3^rd May 2024
   2. Clearing of candidates:                         8^th May 2024
   3. Campaign period:                                 9^th – 16^th May 2024 midnight.
   4. Sending Tokens:                                  15^th May 2024
   5. Voting/Election Period:                     17^th – 20^th May 2024 at 12:00 noon
   6. Tallying and Announcement on the AMM on 20^th May 2024.
