THE 37TH COAST BRANCH ANNUAL MEMBERS MEETING AND BRANCH ELECTIONS

DECLARATION OF VACANCIES AND CALL FOR NOMINATIONS COAST BRANCH

In exercise of the powers granted to me by the Branch Governance Policy of ICPAK as approved by Council, I CPA Edwin Makori being the Returning Officer for Coast Branch Elections hereby declare the following positions in the Coast Branch Executive Committee 2022 – 2023 VACANT.

I invite nominations from among members of Coast Branch to the positions listed above. Interested members are requested to send dully filled nomination forms to branches@icpak.com by close of business Tuesday 10^th May 2022. The nomination form is attached herewith.

Note:

1. Sub-section 7.0.4 of the approved Branch Governance Policy stipulates that one must have been a member of the Institute for not less than three years and must have also served the in the Branch Executive Committee for at least one year to qualify for the position of Branch Chairperson.
2. Only members in good standing with respect to paid up subscriptions, CPD requirement and with no pending disciplinary cases will be cleared to vie for the above positions.
3. Only members registered with the branch will be eligible to vie and /or vote for the positions above during the annual members meeting. To register with the branch, kindly subscribe online at https://www.icpak.com/coast-branch/.
4. Voting shall be done online as per the voters register.
5. Please note the following key dates as appertains the branch elections
   1. Submission of nomination forms: 10^th May 2022
   2. Clearing of candidates: 12^th May 2022.
   3. Campaign period: 12^th to 19^th May 2022 midnight.
   4. Sending Tokens 18^th May 2022.
   5. Voting/Election Period 20^th to 23^rd May 2022 Noon.
   6. Tallying and Announcement on the AMM on 23^rd May 2022.
