THE 2ND ICPAK PUBLIC LECTURE ON ETHICS AND ANTI-CORRUPTION

The Institute will host the 2nd Annual public lecture on ethics and anti-corruption initiatives on Wednesday 6th December 2017 at Hilton Hotel, Nairobi, starting at 3.00pm.
The purpose of the Public Lecture is to facilitate discussion and progress on corruption prevention, particularly in relation to the public and private sectors.
By acknowledging the ubiquity of corruption, the lasting damage it can cause and the responsibility of powerful institutions to take action, the debate aims at raising awareness about the vice and drawing attention of the policy makers, professional associations and the academia to effects and cost of corruption in Kenya.
The expected outcomes of the 2nd ICPAK Public Lecture will include:
- Improved knowledge and capacity of citizens to Detect, Deter, Disrupt and Defeat corruption;
- Renewed commitment from the policy makers, practitioners, professional bodies and the academia to combat corruption in Kenya
This Public lecture will revolve around the following theme, “Paying the price of Corruption in Kenya: For how long?”
