Overview
The country’s economy is experiencing fundamental changes which are anchoring a central promise of growth. This comes amidst a shortfall in revenue targets, an increase in pending bills and austerity measures being put in place. The nation is eager to see how the repeal of the interest rate cap, tax reforms and demonetization will inject positive drive into the economy. With release of the 2019 Census report, the nation is also expected to plan better for its citizenry in service delivery by taking advantage of the figures.
Themed, “Economic Stewardship for Transformation and Shared Prosperity”, the symposium seeks to explore strategies for effective and efficient management of resources for the benefit of present and future generations.
The 28th Economic Symposium will focus on:

National Industrial Training Authority (NITA) Reimbursement
The Institute is registered as a trainer with National Industrial Training Authority. The Institute’s registration number is DIT/TRN/47. Participants who are registered levy contributors should apply to NITA for reimbursement of their fees. Please note that this is applicable for Kenyan citizens only and subject to NITA regulations.
