THE 12TH NYANZA BRANCH ANNUAL MEMBERS MEETING AND BRANCH ELECTIONS

DECLARATION OF VACANCIES AND CALL FOR NOMINATIONS – NYANZA BRANCH

In exercise of the powers granted to me by the Branch Governance Policy ICPAK as approved by Council, I CPA Edwin Makori being the Returning Officer for Nyanza Branch Elections 2022 hereby declare the following positions In the Nyanza Branch Executive Committee 2022-2023 VACANT.

I invite nominations from among members of Nyanza Branch to the positions indicated above. Interested members are requested to send duly filled nomination forms to branches@icpak.com by close of business on Friday 6^th May 2022. The nomination form is attached herewith.

NOTE:

1. For one to vie for the position of the branch Chairman, one must have been a member of the Institute for not less than three years and must have also served the branch Executive Committee for at least one year.
2. Only members in good standing with respect to paid up subscriptions, CPD requirement and with no pending disciplinary cases will be cleared to vie for the above positions.
3. Only members registered with the branch 30 days to the AMM will be eligible to vie and/or vote for the positions above.
4. Voting shall be done online as per the voters’ register drawn from members in (2) above.
5. Please note the following key dates as appertains the branch elections:

1. 1. Submission of nomination forms: 6^th May 2022
   2. Clearing of candidates: 9^th May 2022
   3. Campaign period: 10^th – 17^th May 2022 midnight
   4. Sending Tokens 16^th May 2022
   5. Voting/Election Period (18^th – 20^th May noon)
   6. Tallying and Announcement on the AMM on 20^th May 2022.
