The Pan African Federation of Accountants (PAFA) would like to invite you to the Technical Excellence and Value Management Conference to be held on 08 – 11 October 2018, at the Hilton Hotel in Nairobi, Kenya.
As PAFA’s objective to lead in influencing policies that enable resource utilisation for the benefit of Africa’s citizens to achieve socio-economic transformation through the accountancy profession, this conference aims to provide insight on Public Value Management and what it means for the accountancy profession and the African economy.
The occasion further provides a platform for the launch of the first annual conference of the Africa Integrated Reporting Council (AIRC).
The conference will bring together representatives from the Stock exchange, Regulatory bodies, National and Regional Governments and Professional Accountancy Organisations (PAOs) responsible for Financial Reporting standards (including IPSAS, IFRS for SMEs and IFRS), Audit & Assurance standards, Ethics and Education standards.
