Overview
The covid 19 pandemic saw various business entities move towards embracing technology and remote operating setting. This therefore led to a spike in adoption of Information technology solutions in majority of the business processes and procedures and brought about increased efficiency and improved businesses processes but has also saw its fair share of challenges. Cyber-attacks on enterprises have increased in frequency hence realizing a need for continuous reevaluation of security controls to mitigate data security risks and avert catastrophic losses that could impact an entity’s competitive edge, reputation, and relationship with stakeholders.
Implementing appropriate and effective cyber security controls can better protect an organization from such risks and might not involve significant budgetary impact on resources in comparison to the value of the data and information involved.
