Implementing Resilient Cybersecurity Controls – Recording
Date: 17th August 2023
Time: 04.00pm-06.00pm
Venue: Online
Overview
Fast paced changes in technology have acted as an enabler and brought disruption to many fields including the accounting profession. Technology has made it easy to execute some tasks that were repetitive in nature and time consuming with a great deal of precision. Heavy automation of systems to achieve workplace efficiency and productivity has equally posed significant security risks that cannot be wished away. Organizations are becoming increasingly vulnerable to cyber attack threats with so much at stake in terms of loss of data and demands for ransoms.
Such attacks disrupt businesses and can cripple an organization financially where colossal ransom amounts are demanded. Having basic cyber security controls is no longer comforting for organizations as these can be overrun by hackers. It is therefore imperative for organizations to relook at their IT infrastructure, analyse risks they are exposed to and develop fortified cyber security controls that reduce risk exposure. It is with this in mind that ICPAK has organized this webinar to give key insights into how organizations can implement resilient cyber security controls for enhanced IT safety. The session will focus on:
– Potential cyber security risks
– Mapping IT risk exposure
– Creating the right organizational culture for IT security
– Deployment of resilient cyber security controls
