Overview
This one-day Workshop organized by ICPAK provides a rigorous and detailed overview of selected major technical IFRS requirements. This will be through presentation of illustrative practical examples in an interactive environment. In addition, to a review of selected IFRS, delegates will also receive an update on major changes and the probable impact of their adoption.
Workshop Objectives:
By the end of the workshop delegates will have achieved the following objectives:
- Understand the current and likely future requirements of IFRS
- Understand requirements of fair value measurements
- Appreciate and apply IFRS Revenue recognition principles
- Understand the changes in Leases accounting
Target group
Finance professionals, financial accountants, general accountants, auditors and other professionals responsible for ensuring accurate external financial reporting that complies with IFRS.
The seminar will be held on Friday, 5th February 2016 at the Hilton Hotel, Nairobi from 8.00am-5.00pm. Charges are Kshs. 7, 950 and Kshs. 13, 950 for ICPAK members and non members respectively.
