Theme: Stress Management Solution for Accountants
More than eight out of ten accountants are suffering from stress related problems, according to new research from the Chartered Accountants’ Benevolent Association (CABA).
“Accountancy is a profession where long hours are common and excessive demands are frequently made by employers on staff. The current economic climate has not made this situation any easier, with many feeling that their jobs are under threat,” said Kath Haines, chief executive at CABA.
Common solutions offered for those suffering from stress-related issues include healthy eating, exercise, finding a support system and learning relaxation techniques. This forum will particularly focus on the Twin Heart Meditation technique which combines a simple set of exercises and deep breathing techniques to combat stress, promote health and increase productivity.
Target Audience:
Associate members, accounting professionals, practising members, accountants in public and private sectors, team leaders
