OVERVIEW
Most employees experience mental illness or substance use problem at some point in their lifetime. It only makes sense that something that affects our everyday life can affect our work life too. Even though these health issues can affect the way we work, many people do not seek help due to the fear of retaliation or loss of jobs.
This webinar endeavors to help us deal with mental illness and substance use in the workplace by discussing the areas below:
i. What mental illnesses and substance use problems affect employees at work
ii. What causes employee mental illness at the workplace?
iii. What are the warning signs of mental illness and substance use at the workplace?
iv. What to do when mental health or substance use problems is starting to affect employee at work
