The advent of technology in the accounting space has had a significant bearing on how different professionals carry on with their duties. Most organizations have embraced technology to gain a competitive edge in the market and help to achieve efficiency in operations. The fraudsters are ahead of their game, and this creates endless challenges to those charged with safeguarding an organization’s resources. Not only will the fraudsters cause financial and reputational damage, but also conceal their activities which render some operational checks redundant.
