Overview
Most organizations, especially the regulated entities have 31 December as year financial year ends. This implies that auditors are now preparing to commence the audits for 2016.
To equip and refresh audit staff with the skills required to carry out these audits in light of a number of business reform laws, changes in the business environment and the dynamism portrayed, ICPAK has organized this training to train key audit staffs to increase audit efficiency, aid in streamlining of audit approaches to further balance most of the time spent on engagements and achieve audit efficiency.
The course will cover:
• Conducting Risk Assessment and Audit of the Internal Control System
• Audit Sampling
• Auditing Property, Plant and Equipment (IAS 16)- Practical Application
• Audit of the Comprehensive Income Statement- Practical Application
• Audit of the Statement of Financial Position- Practical Application
• Audit Documentation and Conclusion
Target Audience:
Members in practice, staff working in audit firms owned by members, associate members, auditors, preparers of IFRS financial statements, non-auditors with internal control responsibilities, academicians and consultants
Conference
Charges: Kshs. 14,950 and Kshs. 24,950 for ICPAK members and non-members respectively. Associate members will pay Kshs. 10,950. Staff from practitioner’s firms who are not members will enjoy the member rate.
