The International Standard on Quality Control No. 1 by IFAC (ISQC 1) provides a sustainable structure for firm-wide quality control, allowing firms to holistically raise the quality of their work. Expectations by stakeholders and rapidly evolving of regulations, quality assurance is therefore taking a centre stage for all the auditors.
Themed, “Enhancing Quality Assurance by Audit Firms in Kenya”, the Institute in recognition of the above is organizing a two-day workshop to focus on the importance of Leadership Responsibilities for Quality within the Firm; Relevant Ethical Requirements; Acceptance and Continuance of Client Relationships and Specific Engagements; Human Resources; Engagement Performance and Monitoring

5.0 National Industrial Training Authority (NITA) Reimbursement
The Institute is registered as a trainer with National Industrial Training Authority. The Institute’s registration number is DIT/TRN/47. Participants who are registered levy contributors should apply to NITA for reimbursement of their fees. Please note that this is applicable for Kenyan citizens only and subject to NITA regulations. Remember that to qualify you should apply to NITA for approval prior to the date of the conference. Further details can be obtained from their website (www.nita.go.ke).
