A. ABOUT THE SEMINAR
In the year 2016, the Institute embarked on a journey to see that all its members across the globe have a fair opportunity to comply with CPD requirements. By this, the Inaugural UK Chapter Seminar was born. Now it’s 4th year, the seminar continues to bring together ICPAK members in Europe and the neighbouring nations to learn, network and share experiences from across board on matters of tax, economics, governance and ethics, audit, risk management, leadership, tax, financial reporting, public finance management and forensics investigations.
The event is highly recommended for public and private company directors and the management team, CFOs and their equivalents, county executives, members of the legislature, judiciary, practitioners among other stakeholders.

C. TRAVEL INFORMATION (VERY IMPORTANT)
Kenyan delegates will require a valid passport and VISA to enter the United Kingdom. Yellow fever certificate and hotel booking are also essential for a smooth travel. Evidence of Hotel booking may be necessary at the point of entry. You are also advised to carry some cash in globally acceptable currency. Apply for your visa atleast one month prior to the event.
Delegates from other nationalities are requested to check with their United Kingdom Embassy/ High Commission for their travel requirements. We will assist on letters of invitation or any other confirmations that may be needed to facilitate issuance of VISAs.

E. CONTINUOUS PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT UNITS
Members of ICPAK and those from other reciprocating professional bodies will earn 20 CPD units upon successfully attending all seminar sessions.
F. NATIONAL INDUSTRIAL TRAINING AUTHORITY (NITA) REIMBURSEMENT
The Institute is registered as a trainer with National Industrial Training Authority. The Institute’s registration number is DIT/TRN/47. Participants who are registered levy contributors should apply to NITA for reimbursement of their fees. Please note that this is applicable for Kenyan citizens only and subject to NITA regulations. Remember that to qualify you should apply to NITA for approval prior to the date of the conference. Further details can be obtained from their website (www.nita.go.ke).
