Introduction
Public Benefit Organizations (PBOs) have been accused of facing a crisis of accountability and transparency. This can lead to credibility damage if remedial action is not undertaken. This however does not under look the important role they play in the development of the Kenyan economy by providing public benefit services/goods. This workshop aims to explore the various Tax laws affecting PBOs in Kenya, give an insight on tax compliance requirements and discuss tax health checks requirements with an aim of upholding transparency and tax compliance in the sector.

This workshop will be most beneficial to delegates drawn from both the public and private sectors particularly; Accountants & finance personnel in Charities, Aid Organizations, trusts, Auditors of PBOs, foundations & faith-based organizations, Consultants especially those dealing with PBO’s, compliance officers, those intending to work with PBOs and PBOs regulators.
