While newer, better automated products are available in the market today, Excel remains a go-to program to many accountants. This is owing to its ease of accessibility, agility and affordability. Indeed, Microsoft Excel is ubiquitous as many computers come with the Microsoft Suite pre-installed. In Kenya where many organizations cannot afford to procure accounting software, Excel adequately serves accounting purposes.
