Theme: Sustaining Confidence in Financial Reporting
1.0 Overview
Financial reports comprise a number of reports prepared in structure and format as prescribed by the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Kenya (ICPAK). In prescribing the nature and form of financial reports ICPAK reviews International Financial Reporting Standards, International Accounting Standards and other applicable standards as adopted for use in Kenya together with local legislation and regulation as issued by Kenyan regulators. It’s the intention of ICPAK and that of the accountancy profession to ensure comparability of financial statements hence aid investment decisions.
