Theme: ACCELERATING GROWTH FOR SMEs
Overview
With Small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) at the heart of the economic focus in Kenya many SMEs are feeling an increase in business confidence with a brighter future. To leverage on this optimism SMEs must demonstrate their capability to manage finances effectively, leverage on consortiums, address the challenges that bedevil them and adopt new technologies for cost effectiveness to ensure financial and business sustainability. ICPAK has organized a two day seminar to address key bottlenecks to SMEs businesses and performance growth and offer practical solutions to overcome these challenges as well as discussing other key issues holding SMEs to access growth investment.
Themed ‘Accelerating Growth for SMES’ the workshop aims to achieve the following objectives:
- Identify and offer practical solutions to challenges affecting SMEs in Kenya.
- Acquire hands on knowledge on how to develop effective business plans
- Appreciate the use of financial innovation and new technologies for cost-effectiveness.
- Apply smart financial management strategies
- Understand how to close finance and investment gaps.
- Understand and adopt winning strategies for soliciting funding and investment
- Leveraging on consortiums for business growth
Target Audience: Accountants with start-up businesses, Business people, academia and consultants
Charges: Kshs. 12,950 and Kshs. 22, 950 for ICPAK members and non members respectively. 14 CPD Hours will be awarded to members in attendance.
