OVERVIEW

Leadership is the process of influencing others to accomplish tasks through providing purpose, direction, and motivation. A brilliant leader sets out the plan in place, organizes resources and ensures every team member understands the objectives. Leadership is more of a human endeavor since it not only focuses on products, technological advancements or result delivery but touches on relationship building for synergy. As workforce continue to evolve, strong and reliable executive leadership has been seen to propel organizations forward. Executive leadership has the agility and skillset necessary to respond to challenges and identify strategic opportunities. This is made possible through the ability to skillfully adapt to situations and identify the best possible course of action based on self-knowledge hence defining executive leadership as managing ourselves to make the most of our capabilities in evolving circumstances and better enabling others to lead themselves. Executive leadership is about leveraging on what you can do as a leader by thinking beyond yourself and maximizing what others have to offer and deliver the best outcome.

As the world faces a risk of a looming global economic recession due to various external factors such as supply chain disruptions, trade imbalances and labor market pressures this has caused a string of financial crisis in business operations witnessed by downsizes and drastic changes in strategic operations. These risks are coming shortly after the world struggles to recover from effects of the covid 19 pandemic, this therefore places the bar higher for corporate executives in matters of accelerating strategic executions, business growth and sustaining engagements touching on teams, customers, and other market players. This executive seminar seeks to equip leaders with the necessary skills required to propel business resilience and growth amid uncertainties and unpredictable economic situations. This ensures that business entities don’t miss a beat when it comes to trusted leadership performance.

The 29th Executive Seminar will engage the top industry experts on issues regarding leadership and governance. The theme will cover various aspects of executive leadership such as growth mindset geared towards transformative growth as well as demystifying executiveship and leadership as independent concepts. Neurodiversity will also be a key aspect for the future executives in a bid to better understand teams, harness maximum opportunities out of various situations and drive change. The participants will be equipped with the right skills, knowledge, and frameworks for action plans to boost productivity and leadership performance.

The one-week seminar is designed to provide a platform for discussion and interaction of various executives and senior leaders in relation to the future of governance, strategic leadership, expectations from executives and collaborations of all key parties.
