Overview
Many people assume accounting is a one-dimensional field. However, as technology advances and businesses become more complex, the role of accountants is dynamic. Accountants are no longer number crunchers. They are strategic advisors that have a bottom-line impact on the health of a business. Hence, accountants must be on top of changing regulations regarding financial reporting along with technological advancements.
The accounting profession includes various accounting specialties, each with its own unique demands and strategies. However, despite the differences between each specialty, accountants across various sectors and disciplines are met with similar challenges they must overcome and opportunities they can take advantage of.

The Institute is registered as a trainer with National Industrial Training Authority. The Institute’s registration number is DIT/TRN/47. Participants who are registered levy contributors should apply to NITA for reimbursement of their fees. Please note that this is applicable for Kenyan citizens only and subject to NITA regulations.
