Annual Budget Review Seminar – Northern Branch
Date: 17th – 18th June 2021
Time: 8am to 4pm
Venue: Wajir
OVERVIEW
The 2021 Budget Review and Economic Outlook Analysis is premised on the backdrop of a contracting global economy occasioned by the outbreak and the rapid spread of the Covid-19 Pandemic. The impact of the pandemic continues to be felt across the globe and even ravaging the region and the Kenyan economy. Consequently, the economy has experienced negative effects with growth projections dwindling at the backdrop of the devastating effect of the global pandemic.
This year’s Budget presents an opportunity for the government to make proposals with accompanied expenditure which are aimed at resuscitating the economy and setting it on a growth trajectory in the coming years.
The Budget proposals will be presented on the 10th June 2021 by the Cabinet Secretary to the National Treasury. Thereafter, the Institute will share a detailed analysis on the budget proposals as will have been presented. Join us to learn more about the Budget 2021proposals and the impact on the economic outlook of the country.
