OVERVIEW
Accounting is undergoing so much change, largely sparked by vast advances in technology. The evolution of cloud accounting is changing customer expectations and accountants are rethinking the way they operate to meet the new demands. It has been improved significantly by the emergence of accounting software using the cloud technology, which is one of the tremendous IT innovations over the last decade.
Cloud computing allows accountants to spend less time on administrative tasks such as data entry, chasing up documents and spend more time on valuable revenue generation activities. It means that accountants can do what they are trained to do – explain, work with numbers, and let them precisely to focus on the growth of the business. Today the ever-changing business world is becoming more and more competitive and sophisticated with the advancement of cloud technology. Like other sectors of business, accounting has also embraced cloud computing solutions in order to provide relevant and information as well as a real time overview of business for all stakeholders.
However, some organizations are unclear about the nature, scope, and locations of their cloud activities exposing them to various risks. Cloud computing can disrupt organizations, calling into question its impact on governance, compliance, risk management, cybersecurity, audit and change management. This webinar will seek to assess the implications of cloud based accounting to professional accountants
