Integrated Reporting Webinar – Recording
Date: 11th August 2021
Venue /Platform: Virtual /Zoom
OVERVIEW
Financial reporting has evolved over the years and improved from being internally and operationally focused and now aims at reporting on the connectivity of strategic objectives, risk and performance to demonstrate how companies create value. This means that organizations need to understand and report on all areas of performance and not just focus on short-term financial results. This helps management in the analysis, formulation and monitoring and evaluation of strategy and has a significant contribution to make in the validation of strategic plans and decisions.
This report that is all inclusive is referred to as an integrated report which is a concise communication about how an organization’s strategy, governance, performance and prospects lead to the creation of value over the short, medium and long term. It encompasses the need to address risk, external influences, stakeholders, non-financial results, brand, etc. It addresses the importance of selecting the right performance management techniques, information systems, reporting functions to ensure performance is delivered at all levels and over the short and long-term.
