OVERVIEW
The Institute aims to improve the quality of general-purpose financial reporting by all not-for-profit organizations to ensure that there is better informed assessments of resource allocation and utilization decisions, thereby enhancing transparency and accountability.
The NPO Conference will be a peer-driven educational and learning forum centered on key themes addressing the current and future challenges and opportunities in managing donor funded programs. The conference aims to equip participants with current trends in financial management, regulation, accounting, risk and leadership. Delegates will learn and share experiences with thought leaders in the NPO space in Kenya and in the region.
This virtual yet highly interactive seminar will give the participants an opportunity to learn some of the latest development in financial reporting and get details on the new reporting standards under the different financial reporting frameworks that are relevant to the NPO sector.

NATIONAL INDUSTRIAL TRAINING AUTHORITY (NITA) REIMBURSEMENT:
The Institute is registered as a trainer with National Industrial Training Authority. The Institute’s registration number is DIT/TRN/47. Participants who are registered levy contributors should apply to NITA for reimbursement of their fees. Please note that this is applicable for Kenyan citizens only and subject to NITA regulations.
