OVERVIEW
It is crucial to have all rounded employees who with the right skills, mentorship and training will be able to be add value to the organization as they transition and grow in their careers and workplace. Most people as they start and progress in their careers aren’t typically thought of as leaders in the workplace. As a young professional, you can still be a leader even if you’re not in a position of power. Young professionals may not bring years of experience to a company, but they bring energy, exuberance, a fresh education and knowledge of new technologies that others in the company may not have. They also bring a fresh perspective and a new look at old problems.
Various skills are necessary to succeed in a professional setting ranging from emotional intelligence ,public speaking, etiquette ,understanding the changing workplace and leadership. ICPAK has arranged for facilitation of this inaugural young leaders’ conference with all intention to equip this special group of talent with knowledge, skills and exposure needed for organization adaptation in these changing times. The seminar has been designed to provide an opportunity for young professionals to share experiences and ideas on the various dilemmas and opportunities and ensure work life balance as they are mentored by various speakers .The seminar provides a perfect opportunity for you to be part of a symbiotic learning and sharing environment.

Target Audience:
This seminar will be most beneficial to delegates drawn from both the public and private sectors, and particularly young professionals. This seminar is not limited to the accountancy profession only. Staff from other units are highly encouraged to attend.

The cost caters for training fee, training materials, certificate and meals during the conference. Please note that delegates are required to make their own travel and accommodation arrangements.
Continuous Professional Development Units (CPDs).
Members of ICPAK and those from reciprocating professional bodies will earn 20 Structured CPD points upon successfully attending all learning sessions.
National Industrial Training Authority (NITA) Reimbursement
The Institute is registered as a trainer with National Industrial Training Authority. The Institute’s registration number is DIT/TRN/47. Participants who are registered levy contributors should apply to NITA for reimbursement of their fees. Please note that this is applicable for Kenyan citizens only and subject to NITA regulations. Remember that to qualify you should apply to NITA for approval prior to the date of the conference. Further details can be obtained from their website (www.nita.go.ke).
