THE INSTITUTE OF CERTIFIED PUBLIC ACCOUNTANTS OF KENYA
(established under the Accountant Act, Laws of Kenya)
Webinar: Change Management in the Business Environment
Date: Tuesday 9th June 2020
Time: 16:00 – 17:00 Hours
Overview
Global market experts projected major transformations between the period 2011 and 2050. The most significant of this is expected to be competition between established economies and emerging economies. Other challenges are the use of technology, energy, human capital, finance and markets.
These transformations do not mean that today’s leading economies will stop growing. They only mean that those who have previously not done so well are going to get better and outperform the best today (no guarantee nonetheless). These dynamics throw up both challenges and opportunities for business, both at the local and global levels.
Where will this leave your business? Will your business survive the fires of transformation to get there?
To be part of this competitive future, your business must begin planning and managing change today. You need clear prognostic understanding of the business world and begin putting in place systems, mechanisms and instruments that will give you anchorage into that age. You need clear short-term and midterm baby step projections and plans that should eventually hold together to constitute your change management beyond any crisis.
This session will address the core areas of:
- Understanding and interpreting local and global trends for change planning and management
- Moving from change as a project to institutionalizing change management
