THE INSTITUTE OF CERTIFIED PUBLIC ACCOUNTANTS OF KENYA
(established under the Accountants Act, Laws of Kenya)
THE 11th CFOs FORUM
Theme: Redefining Finance for Value Creation
Date: 3rd March 2020
Time: 7:30am-10:30am
Venue: Intercontinental Hotel, Nairobi
Overview
In the midst of all the uncertainties, one thing is certain: finance functions will need to significantly evolve to meet the business needs of the future. With the pace of change expected to accelerate, leading finance organizations are asking the question, how do we stay ahead of change and set ourselves up for a new future? Why are CFOs burning out even as they create value within their company beyond finance activities?
These forums were commissioned in the year 2018 to cater for the interest of CFOs in the market. They continue to bring together leading finance executives and innovative solution providers – to address key areas of interest relevant to market developments, practical and progressive ideas and strategies adopted by successful pioneers and at the same time provide a platform for high level networking.
This 11th Forum has been organized to address this core area:
RESHAPING FINANCE TALENT AND TEAMS FOR THE FUTURE
How CFOs define and reshape finance teams necessitates an understanding of new digital capabilities, impact of technology and a clear view of where finance’s future comparative advantage lies. As a CFO how would you describe your digital finance competency, your team’s artificial intelligence and finance analytics? Do you harness the power of technology to positively disrupt the finance function?
