ABOUT THE CONFERENCE
The Annual Executive Seminar is a premier conference hosted by the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Kenya (ICPAK) with the goal of congregating senior corporate and public sector leaders for candid conversations on emerging trends and challenges faced by their organizations. Now on its 24th edition, the Seminar boasts of having successfully benchmarked Kenya against select top performing cities around the world and having engaged prominent speakers to facilitate the seminars. This strategy has resulted in the transformation of delegates’ perspectives and a steering towards embracing innovative and effective solutions to common challenges facing the accountancy profession in Africa.

In this era of bleeding edge technologies, globalization and new generation employees; executives are constantly contending to learn and invent business models that will enable organizations stay afloat and thrive. The continuously emerging disruptions across industries have seen many organizations lose their market share and even collapse due to inability to adapt. For instance, a more aggressive tax regime will necessitate proper tax planning while increasing cost of operations demands the institution of austerity measures. Transitions in government regimes have also occasioned multiple changes in the operations of public sector entities since they have to mesh with new regime priorities.

Travel Requirements
Kenyan citizens do require a Visa to enter Turkey and may be eligible for e-Visas which can be obtained online. Turkish Electronic Visa (e-Visa) is offered by the Turkish Ministry of Foreign Affairs to the citizens of over 100 countries upon meeting certain requirements. Yellow fever certificate and hotel booking are also essential for a smooth travel. Additionally, you will be required to have at least USD $50 per day of your stay.

NITA Reimbursement
The Institute is registered as a trainer with National Industrial Training Authority. The Institute’s registration number is DIT/TRN/47. Participants who are registered levy contributors should apply to NITA for reimbursement of their fees. Please note that this is applicable for Kenyan citizens only and subject to NITA regulations. Remember that to qualify you should apply to NITA for approval prior to the date of the conference. Further details can be obtained from their website (www.nita.go.ke).
