THEME: The Route to A Successful Practice
Introduction
To become a successful auditor, a strong base of knowledge and an understanding of the basic requirements for audit practice, audit skills culminated with adherence to best practices is essential. This workshop themed ‘The Route to A Successful Practice’ is designed for new practicing auditors to provide new practitioners with critical knowledge and insight that will enable them to ‘hit the ground running’ in their new role. Through interactive group discussion, and facilitator presentations, delegates will develop a foundation of knowledge that will allow them to establish and run a successful audit firm as well as build their professional networks.
The induction training for new practitioners has been organized with the objective of equipping the practitioners with the basic requirements in audit practice despite the challenges presented by the dynamic business, technological, political and legislative environment. To address the modern-day challenges, this year’s induction training will inform delegates on matters spanning risk Management in Professional Practice, responsibilities of the managing partner in a firm

- Roles and Responsibilities of the managing partner in a firm

Target Audience
This forum will be suited to: new Practicing Accountants and Audit Practitioners, As ICPAK, we acknowledge the dynamic role of the firm partner in the rapidly changing business environment. It is with this regard, that we have organized this training, with the intention to assist you transition to this new position.

National Industrial Training Authority (NITA) Reimbursement
The Institute is registered as a trainer with National Industrial Training Authority. The Institute’s registration number is DIT/TRN/47. Participants who are registered levy contributors should apply to NITA for reimbursement of their fees. Please note that this is applicable for Kenyan citizens only and subject to NITA regulations.
